Established in the early 1990s, Charoen Pokphand Plastic Business Co., Ltd.’s CPPC Rigid Film production was established as an upstream operation to existing CPPC interests. Since then, CPPC-Rigid has produced a wide variety of applications from vacuum film for food / non-food packaging and stationery products, to high-end credit cards / IC-cards, for the lucrative American / European high demand markets. With the strongest R&D capacity for rigid films in Asia, CPPC-Rigid has garnered ISO9001: 2000 and ISO 14001 International Quality Standards that reflect its professionalism to be the best in the industry, while addressing full consideration to the environment.Paper cores production is another activity of CPPC. CPPC’s paper cores plant started operations in 1997 to serve the domestic market. Paper cores has various industrial applications including textiles, plastic film and other product in roll form such as tissue paper, stickers, adhesive tape and more. The company has an annual production capacity of 700 tons.With the growing popularity of smart cards, CPPC’s Coating Plant was established in 2004 to provide coating and laminating services for plastic sheets, suitably convertible into various types of cards such as credit cards and phone cards. The coating plant started operation in 2005, with a current monthly production capacity of 0.75 million sq.m.It is committed to reaching international standards both in terms of products and services, good quality control of all products, with competitive prices and punctual delivery, and strongly advocates environment conservation, confirmed by the awards of ISO9001: 2000 and ISO 14001.
